No matter who you are, or your previous training experience everyone is a priority at Rye Bay Fitness.  We know you on a first-term basis and unlike the majority of commercial gyms, you will never be seen as just a number. Each section of the gym is for different needs so take a look around and find out more about each section of the gym.

You may even spot Narla – the gym dog. She is friendly and always loves to watch the members workout.

Step into our strength zone with dedicated Olympic lifting platforms and a full HIIT area, complete with a range of bars, specialist deadlift bars and our custom pull-up bar for serious upper-body work.

This space is perfect for chasing new PBs, hitting wall ball workouts and pushing hard on the track and sled, then adding your latest personal best to our member PB boards to see how you stack up against the Rye Bay Fitness community.

Our upstairs area is dedicated to flexible training space and a full cardio zone, featuring treadmills, step machine, exercise bikes, and cross trainers for elevating your heart rate and endurance.

We also have a punching bag and stretching equipment on a large flexible floor space, perfect for dynamic workouts, recovery, and functional movement in a spacious, adaptable environment.

Join Kate’s class on our spin bikes with the coach by colour system.

Our lifting cage is spot on for heavy squats, with a big range of bumper plates and a shoulder press rack right beside it so everything you need is close to hand.

You can also get stuck into battle ropes here, running them along the track while you push and pull the sled for as many rounds as you can handle.

Our strongman section includes farmer’s walk handles, atlas stones, tyres and a mix of weighted bags and kegs, all ready for you to test yourself and build serious full-body strength.

Our lower body training area is equipped with a plate-loaded hack squat machine, leg press, leg extension, glute thrust station, glute kickback apparatus, and a dedicated hamstring curl machine; offering comprehensive options for targeted strength development across the quads, hamstrings, and glutes.

Our upper body training area features a machine shoulder press, chest press, lat pulldown, cable pulldown, machine row, and ab crunch station; providing professional-grade equipment for comprehensive development of shoulders, chest, back, and core strength.

Our dual multi-purpose cable machines come equipped with a wide variety of attachments, enabling precise targeting of every major muscle group for versatile, effective strength training.

Our free weights area offers dumbbells up to 50kg and kettlebells for dynamic, full-body training, complemented by preacher curl plus a dedicated dip rack; perfect for building serious arm, shoulder, and chest strength.

Rye Bay Fitness offers two self-contained private bathrooms equipped with hairdryers and showers, plus an additional toilet for member convenience.

As part of our welcoming community, you can always pop in to say hi to Gav, Kate, or Narla in the office. We also have a vending machine stocked with gym training drinks and supplements.
